Tarren Bragdon Joins Governor Ron DeSantis at Press Conference to Bring Florida’s Good Governance to Washington

NAPLES, FL – Today, Foundation for Government Accountability President and CEO, Tarren Bragdon, joined Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, House Speaker Paul Renner, and Senate President Kathleen Passidomo at a press conference to highlight the need for constitutional amendments designed to hold Washington accountable.

The constitutional amendments the legislature will consider would ratify Florida’s support for balanced federal budgets, congressional term limits, line-item vetoes in federal budgets, and requiring all laws apply equally to the public and members of congress.

“Today, I was pleased to join Governor DeSantis and legislative leaders who have led Florida with commonsense limits on government while expanding freedom and opportunity for all,” said Tarren Bragdon, President and CEO of the Foundation for Government Accountability. “People around the country look to our state for leadership. These four amendments take the successes and lessons from Florida to Washington, D.C., where they are sorely needed.”

“Restoring these founding principles is not only a fiscal measure but also a moral imperative,” added Bragdon. “This is about doing what’s right for our country and ensuring that the spirit of America is reflected not just in our past glories but in the future we are building for our children and grandchildren.”
