Our elections need reform

Florida wouldn’t be the powerhouse it is today if we constantly chose the path of least resistance.

Looking at the media outcry over Georgia’s election integrity legislation, it would be easy for Florida and other states to hit pause on their own opportunities to improve. After all, who wants to face the full force of woke corporate and media rage?

But what Georgia did to safeguard their elections was sensible and necessary. The state paved the path to restoring confidence in the democratic process while protecting the right to easily vote in multiple ways for all eligible voters. Despite the fake outrage over commonsense solutions such as expanding Saturday voting and providing free voter IDs to anyone who needs them, history has shown—and will continue to prove—that Georgia did right by their voters.
