Liesel Crocker

Senior Research Fellow

I’m honored to be part of an organization with such an important mission. FGA understands that when individuals are empowered to be self-sufficient, the whole country will prosper and thrive.

About Liesel

Liesel Crocker is a Senior Research Fellow at the Foundation for Government Accountability.

Prior to joining FGA, she spent eight years working in the U.S. Senate, most recently as a legislative assistant for Senator Chuck Grassley. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from George Washington University.

Liesel first experienced the value of work as a teenager, bagging groceries, cleaning hotel rooms, and babysitting. To her, work is the pathway to purpose, dignity, and the freedom of self-reliance.

When she’s not working, Liesel loves reading, hiking, and spending time outdoors. A fan of whatever baseball team her sons are cheering for, Liesel lives in northern Virginia with her husband and their three children.
