Representative Ted Yoho: Work and food stamps go hand in hand

Representative Ted Yoho knows the power of work because he used it to escape dependency. After Rep. Yoho and his wife lost their jobs, the newly-married couple was able to fall back on food stamps to help them get through a tough time. After finding work, they were able to lift themselves out of welfare and get back on their feet. That’s why Rep. Yoho knows that the food stamp program must be preserved for the truly needy and that able-bodied adults should be encouraged to experience the power of work.
