FGA Applauds Judge’s Motion to Allow Expansion of Short-Term Plans

Naples, FL — After a federal judge ruled the Trump administration’s efforts to expand short-term limited duration health insurance plans can continue, the Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) released the following statement:

“This ruling is a big win for 2.5 million uninsured Americans who stand to gain coverage due to additional options for short-term plans,” said Josh Archambault, senior fellow at FGA. “Short-term plans offer consumers more choice, more flexibility, and more savings—perhaps Judge Leon put it best: the benefits of short-term plans are undeniable.”
