About Floyd

Floyd Buford is a Senior Fellow at the Foundation for Government Accountability.

Prior to joining FGA, Floyd worked in several different political offices and was a policy consultant at a government affairs company. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia and received his Juris Doctor from Mercer University.

Floyd first experienced the value of work while working at a golf course in Macon, Georgia. To him, work is the only way to unlock the American Dream and chart a future free from government intrusion.

When he’s not working, Floyd loves to travel, play golf, and cheer for the back-to-back national champion Georgia Bulldogs. Floyd currently lives in Washington, D.C.
