Senior Director of Development

I love working for an organization that is committed to winning in all the right ways, and I’m proud to be an employee at such an effective and impactful organization.

About Judy

Judy Cook is the senior Director of Development at the Foundation for Government Accountability, where she manages the development staff, fundraising plan, and works to cultivate relationships with new and engaged donors who share a belief in FGA’s mission.

Prior to joining FGA, Judy worked at the Freedom Foundation in Olympia, WA for ten years in communications and development and as a district sales manager and trainer with twenty years of experience in corporate telecommunications.

Judy first experienced the value of a job while working the counter at a French bakery. Her passion for individual freedom and liberty—and her desire to reduce barriers to give everyone the opportunity to succeed—motivates her work at FGA. Judy has worked on over a dozen film documentaries and sat on the board of directors for the Hollywood Congress of Republicans during her time in Los Angeles. Prior to her career in sales management, she spent time in the music industry as a recording and performing guitarist.

Judy is a lover of music, travel, and cooking. She’s a fan of the New York Yankees and lives in upstate New York with her husband and son.
