PA State Rep. Seth Grove: Regardless of who wins, we need trust in our elections

“States really need to… secure their elections so at the end of the day, regardless of who wins, we have trust in the outcome of our elections.”

– Representative Seth Grove

Election laws should ensure that it is easy to vote, but hard to cheat. Pennsylvania is taking steps to ensure that election laws reflect this and improve public trust in elections.

Here, Pennsylvania State Rep. Seth Grove discusses how election rules changed during the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to more mistrust in the 2020 election. He argues that there needs to be a balance between security and access to restore trust in the election process. Pennsylvania’s efforts can serve as an example for other states to restore voter confidence.
