Innovation in a Pandemic: L.L. Bean

When given the flexibility to do so, businesses around the country can adapt and be creative to meet the needs of their community during a crisis. The latest example is L.L. Bean. The clothing company responded to a call from their native Maine to produce masks, shields, gowns, and booties to protect health care providers battling COVID-19. They have the capacity to make as many as 5,000 masks per shift, offering relief to medical professionals and patients alike.
