Easy to Vote, Hard to Cheat: Jason Snead of the Honest Elections Project

“You never want to have the federal government, or the power of the federal government, being used potentially to affect the outcome of elections.”

– Jason Snead, Exective Director of Honest Elections Project

Jason Snead is the executive director at the Honest Elections Project, an advocacy and litigation organization dedicated to free and fair elections that promotes policies that make it easy to vote, but hard to cheat.

Here, Snead discusses issues around the plans from the Biden administration that direct federal agencies to conduct “get out the vote efforts” targeting certain demographics of voters who are more likely to vote in a particular way. These “plans” have not been made available to the public despite efforts by FGA and the courts. Jason argues that the federal government must be held accountable to the people.
