Lower State Income Taxes

States across the nation are lowering their personal income taxes to give families relief, grow the economy, and encourage work.

The reforms are common sense: reduce rates, condense tax brackets, transition to a flat tax, increase the standard deduction, and limit state spending.

Some states—like Arkansas, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, and West Virginia—are even moving toward phasing out their income tax altogether.
