Robin Walker

Senior Director of Federal Affairs

FGA is comprised of experienced, talented, and humble yet driven people who care deeply about this country. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of a team that is always up for the challenge.

Robin Walker is the senior director of federal affairs at the Foundation for Government Accountability, where she cultivates relationships with federal policymakers and works to advance FGA’s policies on a national scope.

Prior to joining FGA, Robin served as the director of outreach for health care and fiscal policy at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University after a couple of years lobbying for a privately held international company. Robin started her career working on Capitol Hill for one of her home state’s senators and for the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, where she gained an intimate understanding of the legislative-executive policy making process, the federal bureaucracy, and how to do effective oversight. Robin holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Vanguard University of Southern California and a Master of Arts in Legislative Affairs from The George Washington University.

Robin first experienced the value of work running a pool management company, and coaching a summer swim team. Work restores dignity and creates a sense of purpose, which in turn, impacts communities for the better. This chain of events is what fuels Robin’s desire to change policy to allow all individuals to experience the transformational power of work.

Robin enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She lives outside of Washington, D.C. with her husband and three children.
