Barrasso (R-WY) for introducing the Safeguarding Medicaid Act, which would enforce the Medicaid asset verification program to all applicants and recipients. This vital legislation will help safeguard taxpayer dollars by ensuring that Medicaid benefits are directed only to the truly needy, preventing individuals with substantial financial resources from abusing the program.
