FGA praises the passage of the REINS policy championed by Senator Reese
NAPLES, FL— The Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) applauds Senator Reese and the Louisiana legislature for championing much-needed transparency and accountability through Louisiana’s passage of a REINS-style policy. This commonsense legislation ensures that the people, not unelected bureaucrats, have a say in the rules that affect their daily lives. Unchecked rulemaking and bureaucratic spending have harmed families, small businesses, and local communities for too long. REINS is a decisive step toward restoring balance between the legislative and executive branches and returning power to where it belongs: the people’s elected representatives.
