FGA Statement on Failed Senate Vote to Undo Administration Health Care Reforms

Naples, FL — After an attempt by Senate Democrats to undo several Trump administration health care reforms, the Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) released the following statement.

“The Trump administration has made great strides in improving health care by opening up association health plans, short-term plans and health reimbursement arrangements. These key reforms are bringing down costs and providing more affordable options for millions of Americans priced out of the market,” said Robin Walker, senior director of federal affairs at FGA. “Democrats have fought against these reforms every step of the way, and today’s vote is just one more example of Democrats playing politics while stripping affordable health care options from everyday Americans.”
