FGA President to Debate CAP President on Welfare as Part of Soho Forum Debate

Naples, FL—Foundation for Government Accountability President and CEO Tarren Bragdon will participate in the Soho Forum Debateon Monday, December 11 at 6:30 P.M. The debate will focus on whether fifteen million able-bodied adults on government welfare would have a better chance at economic betterment if they were taken off welfare.

The Forum will feature Bragdon and Neera Tanden, President and CEO of the Center for American Progress and the Center for American Progress Action Fund. Bragdon will argue for the affirmative while Tanden will deliver the negative.

For those unable to attend the event, the debate will be livestreamed by Reason on their Facebook page. Online viewers will have the opportunity to submit questions to be asked before and during the event and can vote for the debate winner on sohovote.com. In order for the vote to count, viewers must cast their vote after watching the livestream.
