Ten years after its rollout, ten states continue to wisely avoid the Affordable Care Act’s Medicaid expansion. The Biden administration and progressive activists, from Texas and Wisconsin to Kansas and beyond, are pushing them to give in. Mississippi nearly expanded Medicaid last month. Alabama is studying the program’s expansion in other states. Florida may decide the question in a ballot initiative in 2026.
