Naples, FL — As the Iowa State Legislature considers a bill that would revolutionize how the state grants and recognizes occupational licenses, the Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) released the following statement.
“Gov. Reynold’s proposed legislation will make it easier for Iowans to find work by waiving licensing fees, and help welcome new Iowans into the workforce by recognizing the professional licenses of those relocating to the Hawkeye State,” said Tarren Bragdon, chief executive officer at FGA. “Iowa is poised to be an example for the rest of the nation by developing reasonable licensing laws that protect public safety while making it easier for individuals to experience the dignity and power of work.”
