FGA Recognizes Arkansas Senator Trent Garner as “Champion of Work”

Naples, FL — Last night, the Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) presented Arkansas State Senator Trent Garner with its 2019 Champion of Work award at the annual Jefferson County Lincoln-Reagan Dinner, recognizing him for his outstanding legislative achievements this past year.

“Senator Garner has proven his mettle as a legislator and champion for hard-working Arkansans,” said Nic Horton, research director at FGA. “Last year, he worked tirelessly to push back on a creeping culture of dependency and to rebuild the pathway for all Arkansans to find good-paying jobs. Senator Garner has dedicated his life to serving his community and his country, first as a Green Beret and now in the legislature. All along, he’s never stopped pushing to make Arkansas a better place to live, work, and raise a family.”

Senator Garner is one of just 17 state legislators—out of more than 7,300 nationwide—to win this prestigious award for 2019.
