FGA Applauds Appeal of Erroneous AHP Ruling

Naples, FL — After the U.S. Department of Justice filed a brief supporting its appeal of the controversial March ruling against the Department of Labor’s association health plan regulations, the Foundation for Government Accountability released the following statement:

“In appealing this erroneous ruling, the Justice Department is correcting the record and underlining the Trump administration’s dedication to helping small businesses offer attractive, affordable health coverage to their employees,” said Kristina Rasmussen, vice president of federal affairs at FGA. “States should continue their efforts to expand access to health insurance options—with the confidence that they are operating squarely within federal guidelines.”
