FGA Announces New Visiting Fellow

Naples, FL — The Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) announced today that Brian Blase, Ph.D., former Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy, has partnered with the organization to serve as a visiting fellow. In this role, Dr. Blase will provide research and policy expertise to support FGA’s work to help millions achieve the American Dream.

“Brian’s wealth of experience and expertise makes him a powerful voice in critical areas like health care and welfare, where reform is desperately needed,” said Tarren Bragdon, president and CEO at FGA. “I am pleased that FGA has the privilege to work with him in this capacity.

Dr. Blase previously served on President Trump’s White House Economic Council, where he helped to lead the Administration’s health reform efforts. He also previously served as the health policy analyst for the Senate Republican Policy Committee and as a senior staff member for the House Oversight and Government Reform committee. Dr. Blase has also worked for the Mercatus Center and the Heritage Foundation. He now heads Blase Policy Strategies, LLC.
