I was drawn to FGA because of the tangible, real life wins for the American people. Those wins mean generational change that improves lives through the freedom of work. Helping remove barriers to work and decrease dependency is such a fulfilling mission and I am thrilled to be part of the FGA team.
Josh Waters is a senior research fellow for the Foundation for Government Accountability, where he will be providing support and research on policies that remove barriers that prevent people from working.
Prior to joining FGA, Josh was the executive director for Political Strategies, LLC and an associate attorney at Montgomery Law Firm, PLLC. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Arkansas State University, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law.
Josh first experienced the value of work while working at Andy’s Frozen Custard. In his opinion, work means freedom for you, your family, and future generations of your family, and that work has the power to bring selfconfidence, self-respect, and self-sufficiency—leaving lasting legacy. Josh has shared his expertise by testifying before the Arkansas State Legislature, as well as presenting before county political and service committees.
Outside of work, Josh enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. A native of Arkansas and a fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks, Josh now lives in Wichita, Kansas.Download Bio
