I wanted to join FGA because of the organization’s mission. We’re creating value and making a difference in people’s lives, and it’s an honor to be a member of the FGA team.
Jonathan Bain is a research fellow at the Foundation for Government Accountability, where he conducts research on welfare reform, restoring a free-market for health care, and reducing barriers to work.
Prior to joining FGA, Jonathan spent time as an independent contractor developing a policy research and analysis skill set. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Mississippi State University.
Jonathan first experienced the value of a job while working at the Family Dollar. Both the ability to provide for himself and the power of work to create purpose fuel his efforts to reduce barriers to employment and help individuals break free from government dependency.
A fan of the Mississippi State Bulldogs, Los Angeles Lakers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jonathan lives in Tupelo, Mississippi.
