Whitney Munro is Vice President of Communications for the Foundation for Government Accountability.
Prior to joining FGA, Whitney served as the Vice President of Communications for the Bill of Rights Institute, where she directed their marketing, digital, branding, media, and communications efforts. From 2012-2014, she was the Director of Campaigns for FreedomWorks, where she championed legislative and electoral reform efforts across the country, often managing more than a dozen campaigns at once. Her work experience also includes corporate public relations and serving as a middle school history teacher.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations and a Masters of Public Administration.
Whitney has appeared on national TV and radio networks including: Fox News, CNN, ABC News, NBC News, The Blaze, and more. She has also testified at the state level to several legislatures on matters relating to education reform and school choice, along with general government transparency and accountability.
A fan of all things Texas – including Mexican food, country music, BBQ, and flip flop weather – Whitney also enjoys traveling and cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners, New York Giants, Dallas Stars, Texas Rangers, and San Antonio Spurs.
