Robin Walker

Senior Director of Federal Affairs

FGA is comprised of experienced, talented, and driven people who care deeply about their local communities, states, and the country. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of that team and combine my passions for policy reform and helping people.

Robin Walker is the senior director of federal affairs at the Foundation for Government Accountability, where she cultivates relationships with federal policymakers and works to advance FGA’s policies on a national scope.

Prior to joining FGA, Robin served as the director of outreach for health care and fiscal policy at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, as well as manager of federal affairs at SAS. Prior to her work in the private sector, Robin spent several years working on Capitol Hill. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Vanguard University of Southern California and a Master of Arts in Legislative Affairs from The George Washington University.

Robin first experienced the value of work as a lifeguard and swim coach. The power of work to transform individuals into the best version of themselves—and in turn, change communities for the better—fuels her desire to impact public policy to promote work.

Robin loves anything Disney and enjoys building relationships with friends, traveling, and spending time with her family. Robin currently lives in Nokesville, Virginia with her husband and children.
