Judy Cook is the development outreach director for the Foundation for Government Accountability.
Prior to joining FGA, Judy was utilizing her skills in communications, development, and public relations for various organizations in the public policy space. In addition, Judy worked for twenty years in corporate America, specializing in sales, advertising, and management at telecommunications giants Verizon, GTE, and Pac Bell.
Judy has also served at the confluence of politics and popular culture as part of the research team for nearly a dozen of Citizens United’s political documentary films and as an associate producer for an award-winning education-reform documentary. While living in Los Angeles, she was on the board of directors for the Hollywood Congress of Republicans and was active in conservative politics.
Prior to her career in the professional world, she spent time in the music industry as a recording and performing guitarist.
After living half her life in Los Angeles and Phoenix, Judy is back living in western New York with her husband and son.
