Dan Remmenga is the external relations director for the Foundation for Government Accountability.
Prior to joining FGA, Dan worked in donor relations at the Academy on Capitalism, which sponsors academic research and programming on the benefits of limited government at the University of Illinois. He came to the Academy after three years at the Charles Koch Institute, where he was a Program Manager and Instructor in their educational programs.
Dan started his career as a high school math teacher, where he was twice named as a “Who’s Who Among Teachers in American Schools” by his students. Before entering the nonprofit world, he spent time in the private sector as an actuarial analyst at Hewitt Associates (now Aon Hewitt).
Dan lives in Champaign, IL with his wife and two children.
