Sarah Hubal

Internal Systems Director

I am passionate about helping and empowering people to reach their potential—with their career or personal goals. Through policy work and reforms, FGA helps millions of people reach their highest aspirations.

About Sarah

Sarah Hubal is the Internal Systems Director for the Foundation for Government Accountability, where she provides internal support for the organization’s programs and processes so that it exceeds stakeholder expectations.

Prior to joining FGA, Sarah was the founder of Hubbub Events and the director of operations and events at FreedomWorks. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy from James Madison University.

Sarah first experienced the value of work as a lifeguard in high school. To her, work means freedom, dignity, and self-respect, and it allows you to lead a meaningful life and to live the American Dream. This perspective inspired her to work for FGA and fuels her event organizer work with Startup Grind Charleston—a group that hosts startup events to teach, inspire, and connect entrepreneurs.

Outside of work, Sarah loves to travel, plan events, eat good food, and spend time with her family and friends. A fan of the Washington Capitals and Nationals, Sarah and her husband currently live in Charleston, South Carolina.
