Jonathan Bain

Senior Research Fellow

America’s rise from a fantasy to global prominence was founded on a bedrock of core principles and values. FGA is seeking to maintain those principles and values, and help millions carve out their own slice of the American dream in the process. We’re all charged with an important task, but it’s an honor to call that charge my job.

About Jonathan

Jonathan Bain is a Senior Research Fellow at the Foundation for Government Accountability, where he conducts research on a variety of topics, including: welfare reform, restoring a free-market to health care, cutting red tape and reducing barriers to work, and restoring integrity in elections.

Prior to joining FGA, Jonathan spent time as an independent contractor developing a policy research and analysis skill set while finishing his degree. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Mississippi State University.

Jonathan first experienced the value of a job while working at a local Family Dollar the summer after high school, as well as having various jobs during his college years. Both the ability to provide for himself, and work’s powerful ability to create purpose, fuel his efforts to reduce barriers to employment and help others feel the same sense of fulfillment.

Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and experiencing new adventures with her. Some of his favorite hobbies include fantasy football, and rooting for the Mississippi State Bulldogs and Dak Prescott.
