About Chase

Chase Martin is a Visiting Fellow at the Foundation for Government Accountability, where he manages the drafting and review of model legislation and regulatory comments.

Prior to joining FGA, Chase served as the Executive Director of the Global Alliance for Patient Access and as Director at Woodberry Associates. Chase also served as the Senior Legal and Policy Advisor to the Commissioner for the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, where he worked on strengthening program integrity and fighting fraud in Medicaid and various other government welfare programs. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Southern Maine and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maine School of Law. He is also currently a member of the State Bar of Maine.

Chase first experienced the value of work in the United States Air Force. To him, work is a source of dignity and respect, and a way for people to provide for their families and improve their communities. He wants everyone to have this opportunity, and a path forward free from the cycle of dependency.

When he’s not working, Chase loves to spend time outdoors, hiking, hunting, and fishing. A fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox, Chase currently resides in St. Augustine, Florida.
