Poll: Voters Want Work Requirements For Welfare

Voters support work requirements for childless adults on food stamps.

Automated telephone interviews were conducted with 579 likely voters in September 2016. Respondents were asked their thoughts on work requirements for welfare benefits. Findings concluded that voters overwhelmingly support work requirements and over 90% of Republicans and 70% of independents are more likely to support reformer policymakers.
